Derby Invasion Announces 6th Annual Golf Tournament
The Derby Homeschool Athletic Association is pleased to announce that our 6th Annual Invasion Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 13th at noon at the Hidden Lakes Golf Course in Derby, Kansas. This tournament has become a tradition in the homeschool community and features equal measures of fellowship and fun on one of the most beautiful courses in the Wichita area.
Saturday, September 13th promises to be a great day to cap off your golf season as the weather is still warm but generally
has a hint of fall in the air. It will be too early to rake leaves and both KU and
K-State football have the day off, so come
join us for a some great food, great fellowship and (sometimes) great golf! Your entry fee includes green fees, cart, range balls, box lunch, snacks and great prizes courtesy of many local merchants that support our tournament.
We feature a scramble format that is perfect for families, friends, and co-workers or if you are a single, we can put you on a team. For more information or to get a player or sponsor form, please contact our tournament director D.R. Leach at

Derby Homeschool Athletic Association
Serving the Derby and Wichita area since 2000
The Derby Homeschool Athletic Association was established in 2000 to give area home schoolers opportunities to participate in varsity and jr high athletics. We are members of the Kansas Christian Athletic Association and are approved by the Kansas State High School Athletic Association. We are an all volunteer organization that is led by a board of directors elected from our members. We compete regularly in volleyball and basketball and also have had teams compete in golf and cross country. DHAA focuses on the importance of developing the student/athlete's character, maturity and athletic skills. ThAll coaches and leaders are selected to work with our athletes with this goal in mind. We welcome families from all over south central Kansas to come out and take a look at DHAA!

Volleyball practices begin August 4, 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. at the DRC.

This
is just a reminder about getting your sports physicals done, filling out your medical releases and registrations. We have 2 weeks until westart our practices on Aug. 4th. Remember, you can not practice on Aug. 4th unless you bring your sports physical and medical releases! If you need any of the paperwork, click links / downloads and print them.
Also, don't forget, if you are available on Thursday evenings we are meeting at Hand Park from 6 - 7:30 p.m. See you soon!
